Paula is active in numerous organizations, including the New York City Bar Board and past President of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association (MBBA). Paula is also a 2015 Council of Urban Professionals (CUP) Fellow, an Ellis L. Phillips Foundation Trustee, and she’s on the Executive Committee of the Deerfield Academy Alumni Association.
Paula practiced law for the New York City Commission on Human Rights and her experiences also include several leadership roles focused on talent development and inclusion.

Paula received the Ruth Whitehead Whaley Service Award from the Association of Black Women Attorneys (ABWA), the Network Journal Magazine’s “40 Under Forty”, the Ms. JD “Woman of Inspiration”, and the A Better Chance “Rising Star” award.
